CART HIVE SHIPPING POLICY

1. GENERAL

CartHive delivers products to customers within South Africa through approved delivery partners and, where applicable, other delivery methods displayed during checkout.

Available delivery options, costs and estimated delivery times will be displayed before the customer completes an order where reasonably practicable.

2. DELIVERY AREAS

CartHive currently delivers to: Across South Africa 

If certain areas cannot be served, this will be indicated during checkout or communicated to the customer.

3. DELIVERY COSTS

Delivery charges depend on factors such as:

  • delivery location;
  • package size;
  • package weight;
  • delivery method;
  • seller location; and
  • applicable courier charges.

The applicable delivery charge will be shown before the customer completes the transaction.

4. ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMES

Estimated delivery times will be displayed at checkout or communicated after the order is placed.

Estimated delivery periods are not guaranteed unless expressly stated as a guaranteed delivery service.

Delivery may be delayed by:

  • courier disruptions;
  • public holidays;
  • severe weather;
  • incorrect delivery information;
  • stock availability;
  • high order volumes;
  • remote delivery locations; or
  • circumstances outside CartHive's reasonable control.

5. ORDER PROCESSING

Orders are generally processed after successful payment authorisation.

Orders may require additional processing time where:

  • products are supplied by different sellers;
  • stock must be transferred between locations;
  • payment requires verification; or
  • additional information is required from the customer.

6. TRACKING

Where tracking is available, customers will receive tracking information through the email address, telephone number, account or other communication method supplied during checkout.

7. DELIVERY ADDRESS

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address and contact information.

If an order cannot be delivered because the information supplied was incorrect or incomplete, CartHive may contact the customer to arrange an alternative delivery.

Additional delivery charges may apply where permitted by law.

8. FAILED DELIVERY

If a courier attempts delivery and the customer is unavailable, the courier may arrange another delivery attempt or collection in accordance with its procedures.

Where an order cannot be delivered after reasonable attempts because of circumstances attributable to the customer, CartHive may contact the customer regarding the available options.

9. DAMAGED PACKAGES

If a package appears damaged when delivered, the customer should, where reasonably possible:

  • photograph the package;
  • photograph the damaged product;
  • retain the packaging; and
  • contact CartHive as soon as reasonably possible.

This does not limit any statutory rights the customer may have.

10. LOST ORDERS

If an order does not arrive within the applicable estimated delivery period, customers should contact CartHive.

CartHive will investigate the delivery with the relevant courier or seller and provide an appropriate remedy where required.

11. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Unless expressly stated otherwise, CartHive does not currently provide international shipping.

Where international delivery is offered, applicable customs duties, import charges and taxes will be disclosed or allocated in accordance with the applicable delivery arrangement.
